right the paint work on the corsa was not up to the standard that i wanted so i finally got some time to full flat and polish it
unfortunatly no close up pics of the paint b4 i started but it was peely as fook with lots of inclusions and other problems.
so out came the sanding discs unfortunatly for me i didnt have a DA to use so i had to sand the whole car by hand
WIP

And after 2 days of hard work sanding it came to the polishing and here is a sneak peek at the finished article :yahoo

im so pleased with it c&c welcome
ps-my custom rear bumper is also ready to go bk on the car which i will reveal to all soon

what grade paper did you use? and did you mop the car after flatting like with g3? or just t-cut it? or not even t-cut and reglular polish,
I flatted my bonnet with some 1200 and tried to polish it up but it keeps going grey if I dont keep applying polish

i wouldnt of dry flatted it with 1500 as that can easily go through which will cause you so many problems and i dread to think how long that took you to mop the whole car!
good job though and just make sure u get all of the bits and you may need to mop it in about a week cause the flat bits do come back!

to mop the whole car took a day and in my experience dry sanding is safer than wet sanding but thats just from my past experience.

just in case anyones thing about it,
you shouldnt really flat and polish old paint,
it should only really be done to new paint,
and yeah to get the best finsh polish it with a mop
