The C20 XE had a bottom end rebuild by a previous owner around 10,000 miles ago, I know that the rings, shells and bearings were done as it was done by a friend when he owned the engine. The head was rebuilt with new stem seals, cam seals, inlet/exhaust manifold gaskets, headgasket, headbolts, relapped valves, chemical clean and given a mild self port just over 1,000 miles ago. It was also fitted with new cambelt, roller and tensioner, oil, plugs, filter etc at the same time as the head was done. It would include a K&N induction kit and a standard SFI box (V-Tuning polished inlet adaptor would be sold seperately). It has the cambelt and cam cover painted in red. With the loom, AFM, dizzy, ECU etc. I would be wanting £300 for it.

Just to clear up regarding questions I have been asked via PM.

* The engine originally came from a rear ended Astra GTE 16v.

* The engine does not leak or burn any oil.

* It does not include shafts/mounts/gearbox or suspension.

* The engine is still fitted in the Corsa shown above and is available for inspection until friday 11.08.06.

you havent... is it coscast head or not? I'm gona have to watch out for a certain red corsa now

just obtained my gearbox aswell.

driveshafts and mounts then sorted. till i need it fitting

no way. i would end up putting it in backwards or something

no gonna get everything together first then save and get it fitted by someone who knows what they are doing.
