Have been curious to know if it is possible to buy road legal quads for 16 year olds. If you can get them how much would you expect to pay for one and to insure one?

I rang up about insurance for one of these and even though I know you dont need a bike license to ride one the insurance company I spoke to said they would only insure me if I had a bike license.

A licence which has the theory test thing would be needed due to the fact that the road user wouldnt be able to "read the road" and potential hazards
