took the corsa out for the last time for a few months today, not driven it for 4 weeks, had to break into it as my alarm seems ot have packed up (great) but i got it and it fired up straight away, suprised!

having been driving a 200bhp golf id got used to the idea of comfort and the fact the golf is reasonably fast.

the corsa is so much fun to drive and handles like a dream! i love it! upset 2 escort rst's on the way to ford fair and several bmw's! oh how ill miss the car whilst i save up for some lightening mods........

clean it inside and out
remove alarm
remove all locks
remove windows
fit poly carb windows
fit fiberglass boot lid
maybe get it pained
maybe remove engine and paint it a different colour
sort out the interior
remiove lots of wires
sort some road legal slicks for it
maybe look at the brakes...

drive it

it does use fuel, i used about 1/3 of a tank today just abusing it, however the revs stay about 6k most of the time with me driving.

i have been using it as an every day car for exactly 9months today, so now i have a better car for everyday use i can spend some time working on the corsa and not worry about having no transport for work.

as for weight, not light as poss but just remove stuff i dont need, ill be keeping the sunroof tho so its never going to be majorly light
