Mates decided he wants to go round Newcastle for his B'Day in a couple of weeks, never been before so after some info on the best bars/clubs to go to.
Heard that the area around the Train Station is best
Also, anyone know any cheap hotels that we can crash in?
All help appreciated

quayside - lloyds bar, akenside, chase, quilted camel, offshores
bigg market - pop, reflex, 80's bar - all pure cheesey but great!
the gate - lloyds, mood, bar beyond
near train station - gothem town is really good, union rooms, destination (one of my faves), long bar, thats right next to bigg market.

Stick round the Central and the Quayside and you cant go far wrong. Places to avoid like the plauge are The Boat, Baja and most of the Bigg Market other than that you should have a cracking weekend.
As for digs there is a Travel Lodge on the Quayside and loads of B & B type hotels in Jesmond
