about their 5 year guarantee advert, and the fact that the amount of days they mention is wrong
i got tis reply
Dear Mr Marriott,
Thank you for your recent e-mail.
I have forwarded your comments to our marketing department for their attention and would like to thank you for taking the time to inform us of your comments.
I would like to reassure you that the Hyundai Manufacturers Warranty commences at the date of initial registration of a vehicle and covers a 5-Year period, irrespective of whether one or two leap days occur during that time.
I can assure you that full consideration was taken regarding whether leap year days should be included in our adverts. As the Hyundai warranty is specified as a 5 Year Warranty it was felt that the message behind the advert intended to convey a quantified perception of time would be distorted if leap year days were specifically identified.
I am sorry for the confusion caused by our advert and would like to assure you that your comments have been recorded and your opinions taken into consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Mikel Jorgensen
Customer Contact Executive
so, it would seem that they ignored the fact that leap years exist, on purpose, so it didnt confuse the old grannies driving Hyundais

Thats because no one in America wants to buy a Hyundai, so they have to offer an insane warranty to get people to buy them

Most American service intervals are half what they are in the UK, in most cases every 3,000 miles. Largely a waste of time service *that* much though and you'll find most Americans dont do that either .
