I ordered something that comes by 2nd class recorded signed for mail.

Stupidly not remembering I was going to be on holiday for 1 week from saturday. If one of my neighbours doesnt sign for it for me how long does it stay at the post office for?

they keep a recorded item for 1 week and any other item for 3 weeks.

Not yet - its not been sent yet - im expecting it to arrive saturday morning - after ive left to go on holiday. If its a week I should just scrape it by going to collect it from the P.O.

im a postman mate its definatley a week for recorded mail

also u can ask your delivery office to put a hold on your mail (mail in your name) untill you get back off holiday costs £2

tell everyone at ALL the depots to fucking actually record it as been picked up when someone collects it from the depot!! The amount of friggin times i think a parcel has not been picked up and it has... makes my life hard
