£1168 a month is cheap..we have been looking at 4 beds for around £1500 pcm!
also this isnt a 100k house....the house next door sold for £360k 2 months ago....so u can see whay they arent fussed on sprucing the interior up too much!

You can get a huge 4bed with drive, back & front garden, only couple of yrs old and semi-furnished for £500-600pcm here.

can't help where I live. Sure as hell not going to move further away from London, I hate the commute as it is.
Will have to stick with it and suck it up. Can't only get better from here on in.

Not daft at all, I have about 80k down in deposit and only have a 20 yr mortgage. I've already paid 2 years of that too so it's a good investment. Price *should* increase in value too.
