As some will know I just bought an XE corsa yesterday.. Mechanically a very good car with some expensive addons.. Looks wise it looks terrible so its off the road for the next week while I give it a wee makeover..

Forgot to get a before pic so these are with the back end stripped down of all the crap that was on it...

Plans are the cav gsi wheels done gloss black along with the plastic trims..

Lower it more and a general tidy up including new tailpipe..

Will keep this thread updated as I go..

Miracle it ran with that airpipe on there!

Looks loke a sound base anyway.

You don't hang about either stripping it straight away

Jules it was wrapped in duct tape...

Mav it wasnt kitted up just badly colour coded bits and just neglected..

Stripped it so my dad couldnt see how bad it actually looked! lol..

Will be taxed and insured for start of August.. Gonna be a busy week!! Doing everything myself apart from the wheels are getting powdercoated.

Yup the golf went last week.. He had the Manifold custom made.. £450 he said it cost..

Car didnt feel all that impressive on way home but think that was a few things that ive spotted.

exhaust was made at C+C in glasgow, the car used to have TB's on it when the last owner bought it, but they were removed!

saxo power streering electric pump as well

Correct dean, take it you knew the previous owner??

Seams to have been put together well mechaniocally just doesnt look all that great just now.

remember following the posts on migweb about the car.. sure it was a guy called Ajbek or something that had it before kenny that bought an astra gsi turbo or something similar not long after building the car
