Fords are reliable as long as they are maintined...the CVH lump in the Fiesta is a bit more reliable than early (pre 90) Escort RST's due to being EFI...easy to get wastegate flutter with these

Good usable reliable power for these CVH's would be around 180bhp with can be had for pennies but anymore and you'll be changing the gear box on a regualr basis.

The ford CVH was a great engine i'd deffo buy one despite owning a Vaux for years

Fords have soul and character that Vauxhalls can only wish for
