Going against the grain (get it - wood - grain.....) I'll say alumininum, all the wood decking and wooden furniture will be too much, I'd go for something different to it to nreak it all up a bit.
Maybe get some furniture that has metal frames with wooden slats to sit on etc?

I feel as if I've looked at every set of tables and chairs ever made and the more I look the for confused I become

Not got a garden as such, but here's my balcony. Gonna be getting a big table and some kind of palm in the pot i think
