I currently have a road angel compact with laser detector. Does the job ok for me. Got it in a group buy for £150 all in.
My local Comet store is selling them for £200 but with free laser detector. A saving of £50.

You can go to halfords and get road angel compact, + plus the laser detector for 149.99, limited time only though.

get a snooper s4 neo or the evolution. that detects all the stationary ones, then there is an add on tha you get that you put in your grille, that detects all the mobile ones!!!
me, my dad and bro have been using them and have never been flashed since we used them!!!!
Lucky that as i am only in my 1st year of driving (20 days to go!!!!), and 1 flash means a ban for me!!
Anyway, try ebay or halfords for that one!!!

You could just do the speed limit 
That aside, with more of these average speed cameras popping up, i think the advantage of speed camera detectors is going to fade somewhat. They have two of those stuck in the roadworks on the M6 here with a 40mph limit  . People still overtake me in those though even when im glued to 40, they must have caught so many people on there.
