IMO think I would probably get just as good or better results from doing it by hand but I'm pretty lazy these days

Ive got one and it done a much better job of my hand polishing skills. Dont get wankers cramp afterwards either.

you can pick up the variable speed one from the tools part of the store, it doubles as a sander/grinder /cutter - for the money its pretty decent
