Okay I'm not saying that I know a lot about current affairs but every time something happens like what's going on in Israel at the moment the US always seem to get involved. I know the UN are involved here aswell but what have the US got to do with it. Same thing happened with that Korea missile thing the other week. Are the US world police or something?

I can see the likenesses between the movie and reality. They try and fix things but fcuk the world up doing it.

Most of the time "fixing" things means they get to infiltrate the country have a presence there to influence economy, oil whatever it is they need to become richer still

Question: How do you influence what a country does?
Answer: By using their government.
This is exactly what the US have done with Iraq. The government there will never work on it's own. the USA will have the final say in anything IMO. As said by Jambo, i think this whole thing with Iraq is to do with economy, oil etc.

Well didn't they invade Iraq to find WMD's then couldn't find any so decided whilst they were over there they should overthrow Saddam (which I agree he was a bit of a bellend having half of his family sloughtered and that). Sounds to me like they were just looking for an excuse to start a war.

I think, if they carry on doing what they are doing, this may lead to a bigger dong dong than Iraq.
