later this year im hoping to buy a beemer cabriolet (only going to be 21 so i cant afford an m3 so will have to be a 325 or something similar). was wanting a black one with the m-tech kit on (and no, it wont be badged as an m3). want it kept on standard m3 wheels and on coilovers. i have searched and searched google and the web for pics of just that and i cannot find a decent pic theres a thread in snap day if anyone fancies doing it, iv also found some better pics if someone wants to give it a go (jst needs a colour change).
anyway as i was searching the web i came across this pic

obviously the front bumper isnt to my taste and same with the spoiler, but the wheels suit it. and for some reason i am liking the bucket seats i know its a convertible so buckets should be a no no, but do u think it will look ok with some sparcos up front and get them retrimmed in black leather to match the rest of the interior. or is this just a gay idea which i need to get rid of quickly ?
sorry for the essay, just want peoples opinions on these cars and what you think i should do if i got one. probably endin up keeping it fairly standard though

as long as it kept looking reasonably smart and not barry'd up its probably a good choice, solid cars
they starting to get a bad rep tho as they so affordable now, so people molest em and make em look daft.
just keep it simple and it'll look like a respectable bmw and not a boyracer motor

ye i agree 3CorsaMeal, alot do look very 'chav' now. thats why it is a must the only kit to go on will be a m-tech kit and it will not be badged as an m3. at first i would had thought bucket seats would look stupid but in that pic i kind of like it, im just not sure how other people think tho
and does anyone know which wheels they are and have an idea on the size? im guessing 18s ye?

That's had a bit of money thrown at it, the wheels look pretty expensive - look really wide at back.

ye i noticed that, cant figure out if they are standard arches tho. when i finally get one it will probably get a full respray so should look as clean as that, i just need to know if im making it an m3 styled one or if i should go with aftermarket wheels, retrim, etc. hmm decisions
