hello.
do you have a bonus scheme?
how does it work? is it a target per person or for groups or the whole staff?
dont need to know what you actully get, just how your scheme works as the bosses at my place are thinking of changing our to encourge more people to push for sales.

When I worked in a shop we got commission of 5% of margin with extra commission on certain products during promotions, etc. Then they changed it to peg the percentage to mystery shopping performance and how much you could screw over your customers.

Ours was both, the shop got a bonus as a whole for beating targets, but it was split between the amount of sales of certain products that each of us did.

ours is called 'cqsma' - get 4 mystery shoppers in each month (someone who works for company but pretends to be normal shopper) who asses every aspect of their visit from cleanliness, service, quality of product etc, then give over all percentage. score is worked out from the 4 visits and monthly bonus is worked out for the whole place. then divinded between staff by rank, hours worked, sales, etc

I am leaving the firm I work for now one of the reasons is that my bonus will now be bassed upon the thoughts of the staff I manage, even if proffits are really good my team get to fill in a questionaire saying weather or not they think im a good manager blah blah blah fuck that that!!!
In my new job it is is bassed on mystery shops (product avialabilty) sales and leakage.

worked for an american retail company - got no bonus or over time or time 1/2 whether it be a bank holiday, boxing day or new years eve...even had to work new years day once 
We had mystery shoppers and all that shite, but meant nothing...just determined how the manager moaned at us
was the worse year and a half ever, has stopped me wanting to work in retail again
