Hiya, just wondering what kind of inlet manifold this is, and if it's any good for getting more power out of my 1600 Sport? Was rolling roaded at 120.8bhp before it was fitted(and before i bought the car) and i need to get it remapped now.
Also, would a strut brace fit on the car?

Cheers in advance, Gav

Dont think so? Think it was a lot cheaper than a dbilas one?
Also, can anyone tell me what the electrical connector is just below the battery there? Car makes a noise like a fan when 1st started and stops once it's warm? Goes away if i disconnect this?

It looks like a home made copy... Or maybe a Velos Torque Tube... You can get strut braces which will fit over those kind of manifolds. Lexmaul make them, to name one.

its the secondary air pump, it pumps warm air into the throttle body when cold, and when its hot, it switches off.

It wasn't me who had it rolling roaded, but i have the print out here. From what i was told, it had the air filter, Protec manifold, and cat back stainless exhaust.
Dunno how fast they should feel, but at the min my old Nova SRi felt nippier? Thats why i wanna get it r'roaded again.
Cheers for all your help, Gav

Exactly the same mods as me. It wont be 120bhp, not even close. It's made hardly any difference to mine, purely becuase its got the standard inlet on. Proberly 110bhp MAX!

So how much more should i get from it if it is a vx paul replica then?
Maybe the guy did other stuff to it like monster? I have no idea as i've just bought the car lol. But that's what it says on the print out. I'll get it later an let you know what the torque and all that was.
