Planning to do a bit of a road trip/go camping with a load of mates in a couple of weeks, probably to the Lake District.
Does anyone know of any campsites that will let us have an open fire/get drunk/play music and not care.. all we really want is a field??

should just try and find a campsite that is quite empty then it should be ok.
Im going to lake windomere in the lake district in september and cant wait.
We have rented a cottage though

braithwaite, excellent site, we go there, 2 pubs couple min walking distance, 4 miles from keswick, love it. hoping to drag the fellar and some mates this year!
