Worth saving the money, or is going for the real deal the way forward?

i was looking at getting the ebay ones for my conversion but cant decide either.
also thinking of making my own in work if anyone has got dimensions that i could have. i know someone that has used the 3mm kit and it seems to do the job ok.

if you want some 5mm kits let me know? give me time to cut them. £35 inc postage. for 5mm. 25 inc postage 3mm. cheers
