I would agree with im. Surely it's better to make an 800bhp FWD car with an front mounted engine.... Think of the weight balance you get there.

On a serious note. I'm amazed with these old Fords. They take so much abuse. How much power did the engine originally output in a Cossie? Couldn't be too much over 200bhp right?

I think the new Reyland Escort might actually do funny things to time and space when it maxes out, a bit like a cross between a TARDIS and Doc Brown's Delorean.
