Hey all,
i've noticed the occasional bit of rust on my car, and i've bought some treatment stuff. what i wanted to know is where the usual problem area's are, where to look for rust so i can treat it before it knackers my car? do i need to get underneath the car???
also, the chips and scratches from everyday driving are maknig my car look like s**t.
it's a white corsa so maybe it's just showing up more than it usually would? or is it more likely that the paint jobs just crap?
would it be best to fill in the spots with a chip/scratch paint (but if i did that wouldn't it just happen again???) or get the whole thing painted again professionally?
the rear bumper's been painted white too, and i bumped (only lightly) into a van, which caused some of the paint to come off and it's just black beneath....shouldn't there be some primer on it too? do i need to take all the paint off or can i just fill that in too?
cheers, i know it's a long question
tim
