ive been trying to wire my cd player up to my new corsa for a while now and found no luck. but yesterday i found a guy local to me who lives just behind my local pub! he does boot builds, body work etc. and he said that i can wire my sub and amp to my standard cd player! result!!!! so ive just gotta decide on a subte boot build now! rant over hehe

basically my panasonic mp3 cd player wont turn its self on when its all wired up. it works in other cars. i think vauxhall have got a security thing on the new models. cos mines a 55 plate. but it wont work. so it was a result when this guy wayne said he could do it. said something about converting the phono ports....

Have you tried wiring the power directly to the battery?

dont u have to swap the wires over on vauxhalls. i know what i mean

yes you need to swap the red and yellow wires over but i thought this was with regard to the memory

Switched ignition and constant 12v are the wrong way round on Vauxhalls, connect the yellow from your loom to the red on the stereo and the red from the loom to the yellow on the stereo and it should work.

Wayne who can fit stereos behind the pub? Can you ask if he has any cheap stolen, I mean 2nd hand screens etc?

lol. i must not be doing it right but im a noob with electrics.

waynes a good lad, ino him from my work experience and through a couple of mates. ive seen his work and its good. does the extra modding and stereo shiit on the side from work
