You would have thought a smaller engine = better MPG. My 1.4 16v Astra has better MPG than my old 1.2 16v Corsa!

Depends on alot of things. Age, milage, family of engine, etc etc.

I have a friend that drives a 1993 Honda Integra 1.8L 16v (140bhp) and that pretty much can almost match my corsa (1.4L 8v) for mpg on a run (he can get 40+mpg of it at times). His car has 150,000 miles on it too.

Got 300 miles to just under a full tank once. That was 150 miles of motorway driving tho sticking at 3,500rpm. I average about 60-70 miles to £10

yeh i found about the same mate, economically ive pushed it over 300 miles though for those skint days

I never get all this consumption malarky... i fill my tank up to full on my Corsa B 1.2 16v and then when i get the red light on i'm between 360-400 miles... not bad at all imo

i average 420 per tank, squeezed 515 miles out of her once

i wouldn't say i drive economically, but i'm not a racer (1.0 12V make sure of that!:lol

currently got 215miles on her and about 2/3 tank left, some reason doin well in this tank!!

I got 1.25 16v - Fill up costs about £26 sh and get about 240ish miles!

Better then me old almera... £45 would get me 220miles!
