Right i noticed the other day when my car was tickin over it sounded like some1 had rammed something up my exhaust cos it sounded like it was goin 2 cut out, and now its doin it every time its tickin over. N now when i go 2 start it it takes ages 2 start n its gettin worse every time!! Any solutions any1?? Cheers

its idling low???

clean the idle control valve. do a search for icv

thats just a possibility tho, could be 100's of things

Ive only put a idle control valve on it not long ago. Its proper anoyin when im sittin at traffic lights or summit cos i dont no if its goin 2 cut out or not!

any management lights on?

this happened on a 1.2 16v I had once and it was just the throttle cable was sticky and gunked up and needed adjusting.
