is there just the 1 wire plug that plugs into them then?
as my mk3 astra has one in the centre, then 2 on the side. so 3 plugs in total.

Yeah just one multi-plug at the bottom, which is part of the dash and the clocks kind of clip on to it.

guess it wouldnt be as easy as i thought to get into a mk3 astra then. lol

anythings possible though.

are the later corsa ones cable driven?

actually im wrong. my astra has only 2 multi plugs not 3. one on each side, then the cable in the centre.

so, im probably right to think, the corsa has the same wires functions as the astra. and if i have the corsa loom plug bit, i could wire it up like that.

just playing with the idea. i like the way the corsa's dials are circular, where as astra/cav/cally dials look old and dated

what about mk4 astra dials? as these are round like the corsa ones but may be easier to get into your mk3?

i think my4 astra ones are electrial driven, my astra is cable.

What gearbox? You might be able to get a sender and do away with the cable.
