Started work on stripping down the GSi, ready to get the engine out for its build, aswell as tidy up as much bodywork as I can before it goes for a spray over...

Not much so far, I will have some more done hopefully soon enough tho...

Bumper off so it will actually go 'on' the ramps... Also took the lights out, as no point leaving them in for now...

Little bit of rust which WILL need sorting - best just grind & replate it & weld it I guess...

Finally up on the ramps ready for oil & coolant to be drained

Good job I'm getting a new boot hatch too, ****ing garage where I bought it from thought it clever to drill 'new' holes and use self tappers to attach the rear numberplate so its starting to rust through...

More when I can be bothered

LiamD - plans are, full engine rebuild, tb's, management, internal goodies, sort out all the rust on the car, both inside & out, plus other bits & bobs

timrud_ - they do look ace with no front yes I wouldnt be suprised if this ends up being muppets 'Gheto' euro-styled mod...

Update - drained oil but dropped the fookin trolley jack on the passenger door so now has a dent in the A-pillar & chipped paint luckily though that got the brunt of the impact, so it just slid on the window

tbh probably yes, but i cant be arsed with looking for & then buying another shell...

rust on this one isnt too bad tho, just little bits here & there, so would be easier/cheaper to sort this one out!
