i find my leon handles very very actually, very stable in the corners, take longer fast corners well, havent really pushed it around tight tight corners yet, i feel it may oversteer a tad in that situation

the 106 was definatly more nimble, and no doubt better through the real twisties, but this feels more stable at high speeds in corners

coil packs, MAF sensors, snapped clutch pedals are all common problems.

I've got a Cupra-R, only 200 made and around 75 in the UK. 180bhp, Brembos, 16inch OZ super T's, slightly lower, different seats and red seat belts, oil temp and volt meter are the extras you get with an R. Only made in Red, yellow or Black.

Paint is notoriously thin so expect stone chipped bumper and bonnet. Handling isn't great as standard but decent shocks and uprated ARB's help.

My brother's leon cupra has Konis and s3 ARB's and it handles much better than my Ibiza.

Weak link for extra power is the standard K03 turbo and the SMIC. Worth upgrading to K03s (standard on leon cupras) and FMIC.

Newer shape Ibiza Cupra's have a K03s and a decent intercooler to start with.

I love mine, it goes and stops well and you don't see many on the road.
