[IMG][/IMG]

place the alli mesh in position
[IMG][/IMG]

bridging compound applied to the bk to hold the alli mesh
[IMG][/IMG]

bridging compound applied
[IMG][/IMG]

bridging compound rubbed down

no pic of the final filler stage, and then into the spray booth

also had some damage happen to the front bumper on the way up to pvshow last wk,a piece of the underside of a volvo came hurtaling towards my car on the motor way and i had no way of avoiding it.
here was the damage and how i repaired it

nice pics there mate, did u rub the plastic parts down on the mirrors before u put the fibreglass in cos otherwise there is good chance it could crack, i mad that mistake back in the day, always rub think down so they are really rough before putting fibreglass on then u get a good key!!

good work tho well done, its satisfiying when u do it yourself

your inspiring to fix my mangled wreck of a Predator bumper

mirrors look really good - and so does the headlight gap repair - mines the same - UV really cant use fibreglass or moulds to save their lives

mine didnt have any mountings - my bumper is bonded to the car - now I've got to take it off to fix it - gonna make new mounts etc

PSG is just as bad look at the lines on my back bumper - nothing follows suit

oh to finish off your bumper I might be whacking a few sets of these up soon to tidy the mesh around the towing eye - theyre milled steel with a backing plate - rivet together - you might make them out on this pic
