If you have'nt got any of the stuff you'd be better getting it done at a bodyshop. It should only be about £50, if you were to do it yourself you'd need the buffer itself and some rubbing compound. Someone will confirm exactly what you need but thats the jist of it.

if you havn't done it before be very careful it takes alot of practice.

yeah maybe best, can be very easy to go through the paintwork if you go at it too hard.

Basically they use a rubbing compound on a mechanical buffer, which takes the faded paint off the top bringing the bright paint up from underneath. I think thats the basics

If you are worried keep the speed slow and practice with a very fine cutting compound first and a soft sponge head.
