you sure the old 1.2 8v had hydraulic lifters?!?!?!

if the doooo...
Whip the rocker off... remove cam.... take out the lifters, test them (see if any are squidgy etc)... replace any buggered ones.... clean old ones in petrol and re soak/fill with oil
then replace

Yep... different type of hydro lifter but definately hydro. I have some at home 2.0 8v ones, been soaking in oil for 12 months. afaik all 8v ones are identical
