right i have these in my car and they have recently been crackling at louder volumes
ive bin told its cos im riunning it off my headunit
so i bought a mutant amp (just a cheap one)
but i was wondering wha are these and what do they do??

Yeh, you can adjust the level of the tweeter to your liking with them. Woth putting in

basically they send the right range of signals to the correct speakers

I have these speakers. You need to use the crossover as it seperated the input into two signals, one high for the tweeter and one into mid range frequency for the bass speaker

I would put them in as soon as you can, as they are there so the correct frequencies go to each speaker, and you run the risk of breaking the speakers if you dont use them, and they wouldnt be repaired on gaurantee cos youre supposed to use them
