i put one on mine last year, had a full exhuast system and induction kit, didint make a difference in sound and mine had a silencer in it and i actually lost 3bhp from adden the decat so i put my normal cat back on

Depends what engine you have, what mods you've done etc. As Mark said, if your engine isn't set up for it you could and probably will loose BHP.

well i havnt got my corsa anymore now got a nissan 200 sx 1.8 turbo  , but a had the internals of the cat taken out of ma cat on ma 1.2 16v, was loud sound like a wasp in a can, but there was also a gain got 0-60 around 9.6 secs a think, but a got the emmisions tested, was sittin at 0.58 where should have been 0.3 so it will deff fail the mot at emmisions, but if the vosa boys caught me nuthin they could do - faulty cfat as the cylinder was still there, they could only give me a slip to get it fixed - no points

i have a corsa sport 1.6 with venom induction kit and scorpion back box and stainless steel manifold
and i will think you will find you don't have to have a cat as long as your emmisions an't over
