Why do companies advertise jobs but not tell you what the salary is How are you supposed to know if its worth applying for if they dont let you know how much money you will be earning if you get it

Thats the rant bit over with. Basically im sick and tired of working where I am now, its boring as fuck, I can do everything with my eyes closed, and I hate my manager so I want out. Thing is I dont really know what I want to do, & where I an the money is quite good so I dont wanna move just for the sake of it cos it will probs mean taking a wage drop.

Been looking for ages and I cant find anything that takes my fancy. Pissing me off now

Because they like to interview you first, get a general opinion and idea of what kind of person you are and see if you'll work for peanuts, it's true, all factory machined company bosses are told to do this.
