as it helps to type your problems into a car forum
as you know i design houses etc, i get them after planning has been approved, i meant to design the timber frame, do all the building regs, then all the drawings on-site for them to build it etc
most of the houses i get, don't work, i.e: bathrooms don't work due to minimum room required etc, stairs don't fit etc, dormer windows don't work.
our planning guy designs a house every time that can't be built, what a pleb he is
i having so much headache and stress spending AGES working everything out etc, and no one cares, Boss doesn't see it as i've done well. Just assumes its easy etc
on my latest one i'm just drawing to the dims shown on planning and sending it out, not giving a fcuk that nothing works, not my problem. so only when its all built and the furnishes are ready to go in will they find out its a big problem............
am so pissed off right now,
Rant over...

thats quite a good idea
its the focus that i find hard, if i'd found out nothing worked earlier, everything would be fine, now i meant to fiddle around changing things.
just can't be arsed

ps - 3cm, why dont you just have a got at the designer or boss about the designer that he is shit and cant measure correctly and that your job isnt to correct his problems?

I must admit we are fining it increasingly hard to find good practically minded Architects in our area, infact now that I have found one I'm finding myself sending all of our potential sites to him to develop schemes and he's struggling to cope with the additional work
