Hi all, im new to C-Sport, i have a slightly modified Corsa and i was hoping i could get your opinions on it, and advice on what it may be worth and what other little jobs i could do on it to finish it off (without going ott).
I dont know how to list the pics i have the car on ebay at the moment so you can see it here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4646090844&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
Dont know if i'm allowed to do that so my apoligies if not.
Please let me know what you think, im guessing at hoping for over £1200 for it, look forward to hearing from you all,
All the best, Alan.

Seeing as you're selling it, I'll be honest.

Looks nice and shiney but many negative points:

Silly kit
Lexus Lights
Don't say things like "quite quick" in the advert as it makes it seem like it's been ragged, and a 1.4 8v SPi can't be quite quick!

Well cheers i guess for the comments, any alternatives to the silly kit and lexus lights?, after all, that would then be decent advice rather than just saying there crap.

Welcome mate

Car looks good, nothing wrong with the kit, it's personal choice....

Smoked MHW rear lights would be better than the lexus ones though....Or even standard over lexus as personally i don't like them...

Again welcome to CS hope you stick about...

I had looked into doing a red-top conversion on the corsa but i decided against it for 2 reasons, first of all the cost and secondly the reliability issues but for the next one that i do i will deffinately consider it as i have made the nessecary contacts while messing about with my current one

Reliability issues? The redtop isn't what I'd class as unreliable if looked after

That seems to be the problem a few friends of mine have encountered, getting an engine thats been looked after, the mechanical conversion process itself isnt the issue although you can get some problems with the wiring side its the state of the engine, but i agree with you entirely if you get a good one you should have no problems at all. but all to often the ones i looked out were out of the cars and therfore i coudnt see if they were in good running order.
You could miss out this problem by paying for the conversion yourself and getting a garage to surply and fit the engine but i would be more keen to do the work myself, as getting someone else to do the job would remove the *enjoyment/participation* factor for me.

Fair enough.

If I was guna do the conversion I'd get the engine rebuilt anyhow.
