im trying to transfer money from my account into another persons account through my internet banking.
but im shite with computers.
ive typed in their sort code and account number, what does it mean by 'reference'?
what do i need to type in there?

normally just means what'll show up to the other person and on your records. Just put your name, or Payment for.... something like that.
