someone gets a smashed windescreen, change the plates to the same car which is insured for windscreen cover then get RAC/autoglass out.

i had the same pricament with the 205....

got a windscreen fitted for 58 though... no insurance needed etc. Premier windscreens

Sheila's wheels aren't unstable, it's a fucking shite proposition and I don't doubt they have a shite team servicing p/holders and a shit claims team but they're not gonna go belly up

whats it got to do with financial instability?

bottom line was I had a red and a silver corsa in the driveway, one with comp insurance and the other with none and a broken screen. Autoglass want 180 for a new screen fitted, the ins co want 50 excess, go figure!

Not going to do it anyway, cars not going to see the road for a bit and Ive found someone who can fit one for me next week a bit cheaper.

The cheesewire bond cutting tool is only about £10 if you fancy doing it yourself, most scrappys are dirt cheap for windscreens now cos no1 replaces them themselves.
