He offers something no one else in the squad can offer. He can come on with 20mins to go when we are struggling to break a team down and totally change a game. No other players are that different they could do this.

where did I say he was better than Rooney?!
I said he can come on in a game (rooney would be starting) and he can change a game simply due to his height and the trouble this would cause defenders.
Oh, and Liverpool just hoofing the ball...last time I checked all 3 of our goals when we won the FA Cup werent from 2 yards. 2 of the 3 in Istanbul werent from 2 yards.
