Thinking of getting windows tinted, and was wondering how much i can expect to pay.

i want the back window and the 4 side windows to be tinted.

i got told by a mate that im looking about £200 , what are you opinions?

150 full set for mine originally

stick with very light on front aint worth the hassle ive been fined twice

about right price but expect to be pulled with your front side windows tinted

yeah around 200-250.
depends on the quailty of job too.

I also paid £150 for all of mine done....

How much did you get fined and by who?
I got pulled for my front tints few month ago and was asked to remove them with 10days to do so.
Swapped them got them checked and then put the tinted windows back in!

didnt they bring a law in to say that you couldnt have any tint forward of the b pillar?

Yes that is true, no tinting film allowed whatsoever forward of B pillar. Ive had mine done as have many others and i dont get troubled though

suppose if you don't go too dark they won't bother you

or having the rears slightly darker than the fronts can make it look like only the rears have been done in some light

i was quoted £130 for light smoke all round...will have a chat with him, don't want them too dark anyway....

yeah sure does, hope he was doing all the windows except windcreen

7 windows in total including the small quarter light windows....

also mate to be honest there isnt as much chance of you being stopped in the volvo than if you had a 106/corsa/saxo
