to be fair, the SLR was crap. the proportions were all wrong

whereas that looks almost right

although the colour and wheels are all wrong

and its still not quite right

its just a bit like an expensive MR2/F355 thingy

IMO the slr is better, for a start they started off with a half decent car with that ferrari, and the shell was a lot easier to create, just a solid fibreglass skin, whereas the slr needed shut lines, all panels were seperate etc

Fair play to them if thats what they wanted.

But - if a dog is born in a stable - its still a dog.

It would have been much better to see them spend all that wad of cash (and I bet that was some serious money) to make the car go like shit off a slippery stick coz they'll be gutted when a Evo or the like thrashes them from the lights.

Cant fault the workmanship though and hard work thats been put in.
