GF's mums Punto has a small oil leak around where the headgasket is.
It doesnt seem to have lost much oil, im not even sure if is a bad thing, just want to check?

head gasket probably gone then, mine went on my old punto.

what other signs are there to look for if gasket is on the way out? as im no expert on these things.
duffman what shapoe was yours and engine etc?

mine was p reg 1.1.
i found when mine was on the way out, it seemed to have a loss in power, even tho its not got much anyway lol, but yeah seemed to be a bit slower. Also obviously leaking oil from around the gasket area.
