Gone off the idea of getting a bike, so around my bday in September I'm guna be getting a new car

Now the question is what.

It needs to:

Look ok as standard
Be nippy
Be insurable at 18
Reasonably good on fuel
Have a bit of equiptment as standard
Be reliable!

So far I've been thinking Saxo VTR or 1.4 Corsa Sport, any other suggestions?

I think if you ask here we'll recommend a Corsa although I don't know if you'll insure a Sport at your age. Get some quotes.

Lupo GTi lol. Only grp 11. Xenons and 6 speed box as standard!

Not much needed to do. Already has coilovers and exhaust system and exhaust manifold were imported from Europe and TUV approved.

I got quoted 1600ish TPFT for a 1.4 Sport so can be done, and a few people off here have had them as first cars.

I know it's guna be biased towards Corsa's on here but I'm just looking for ideas!

Budget is around 2.5k max, although the less the better

You tried norwich union, lad who bought my old 1.4 sport had 1500 FC with them at 18.

I insured a 1.6 sport at 17. Depending on your budget though of course. Insurance for me then was 1400 tpft for 10 months.

depends what car you have now?
saxo vtr would fit ure requirements, or the fiesta zetec-s would be worth a look?
(i'd prefer a corsa sport though)
