Just got this e-mailed to me: after a few emails with tv work/foreign mag features lined up im not sure if its real or just spam??
Dear Top Tuner,
On behalf of Global Tuning Awards, I would like to congratulate you for being
chosen as one of the TOP 250 tuner cars in the world. A collection of the
worldˇ¦s top tuners ranging from Japan, UK, Canada, South America, and the
United States were observed, screened, and hand picked to participate in the
1st Annual Global Tuning Awards Competition.
The GT Awards is the first of its kind; creating a platform for the top
builders
of the 21st century to go head to head in this 10 category battle. The
categories are as follows ˇV Honda, Acura, Toyota/Scion, Nissan/Infinity,
Lexus, Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Euro, and Domestic/Other. There are roughly
about 25-30 cars per category.
The cars will be judged by a panel of experts and an online voting system.
Please submit 4-7 pictures of your car - exterior, interior, engine, sound
system, suspension, brakes, whichever you feel best exonerates your vehicle.
Please be sure that all pictures are a max of 4mb and preferably in jpeg
format. We also need you to provide us with your complete contact information
(address, phone, & email).
The winners of the competition will be invited to an award ceremony that will
be televised on the Fox Sports Network on August 27, 2006. Please visit the

Can't see any harm in sending the pictures off, plus look on the website for a contact telephone number, and give them a ring to see if they sent out the email?

Just looked at the list who the email was sent to - looks like there are 2 others i know
Andy almera and weeman (nick) Hmmm could be legit if they recieved it too?

Just be careful, blank out your numberplates, maybe put a watermark on the pics so they cant be copied. Should all go well though, cant really see how its not legit if people you know also got it.
