I came round a bend too quick in the wet once in my old MK2 Astra... and it just decided it wasnt going to happen!!!

back end swung out and we went sideways for a bit, before it gripped, spun the car 180 degrees and we went through a hedge backwards...

cant say I ever go round that bend quickly even now I drive a 4WD car!!
