Text Red hey all, im a newbie on here so please bear with me.
im lookin 2 get a corsa c and asit wud be my 1st car im a little bit iffy on prices for mods etc.
i wud just reli wana get sum lowerin springs on it. how much is it gonna be to get them fitted and wud sumwhere like kwik fit do it? and if i do it 40mm is it gonna catch on speedbumpsas i no sum1s saxo did.
wanna get a exhaust aswell but is it easy 2 fit one at home or again wud it be best 2 go to kwik fit or sumwhere.
with alloys aswell wud it be any 4 stud wud fit or is it picky with diferent fittings for different cars. and when does the handling get worst is it when u get 17inchs?

If it was me and it was my car. I'd get some 16" wheels, lower it about 40mm and put a nice exhaust on it. As its your first car though you'll have insurance to think about.

wheels: must be pcd 4 x 100 and offset as close to 49 as possible!!
lowering it 40mm on 16" wheels is probably the best combination!!
exhaust, if you looking for one specifrically for your car, irmscher do a really nice twin exhaust!!
kwik fit will laugh at you for prices, your better finding someone you know or a local garage who can help you fit the wheels and springs and exhaust, etc!!

cheers, got a quote for £1200 for a 1.2 or a 1.4 corsa c through quinn direct, this seems the cheapest so far. anyone get cheaper on a corsa c, i live solihull which is quite safe and that i can remeber the letter atm.

Probably get charged between £50-£100 for the fitting of the springs.
As said, I think I'd choose a differant garage to take it to.

as he said basically, an i wud try budget garage if u have one local to you they charged be £30.00 to fit my old exhaust, also wid the springs wud give em a go urself if i was u they are quite easy. also i wud try norich union direct for insurance , i am insured on the 1.4 sri for £749 a year fully comp under me mums and dads name.
also a pic of the irmscher exhaust so u have an idea

Keep in Mind that Quinn Direct have the rule of :
No modifications/adaptations to increase top speed, performance or acceleration

TBH you have to expect to pay a bomb if your 17 (like Me) and have Mods, Im currently £1600 (ish) fully comp with all mods

so are quinn goin 2 be iffy if i whack a induction on it? like are exterior mods ok like lights and stuff i cant see why not.
