What can you use as a release compound when moulding with fibreglass and epoxy resin?
I.e, There's a few bits I need to make moulds of and want to use original parts as a base but will need to get the fibre glass off after it has set

was thinking that but not sure the expoxy would just melt through it?

I've never done it before adam but i've read on here people using cling film with the fibreglass.
Not sure about the epoxy though.
Mix up a bit and leave it on some clingfilm to experiment.
