looking to buy a headunit for £200 . wouldnt go far in halfrauds with that but it seems as though you can get stuff on the internet at 2/3s the price of high street shops .

at the moment im looking at the alpine 9853 . just after other peoples oppinions for units within that price range

I've got the model down from that, really good sound quality and loads of random functions I don't even need

The scroll bar is a pain in the arse. I think theres a Alpine 9857 that is about £230, but doesn't have the bar.

alpine RCA9812RB is what i have off memory, was top 1 when i got it but still quality now and im sure u can get it for just under £200 now!

yeah does seem like a good unit £ 189 delivered is the best price ive found . says its about £300 in halfords

ive got the kenwodd kdc7031 i think with full colour screen , g force sensor, records 0-60 times so much stuff for about 150 now.

Alpine all the way, i was gonna get that model but was told the glidetouch is cack so went for 9833, similar model just yr or 2 old, well impressed, cant beat alpine for value and sound quailty

I gt one similar to that but with red buttons & display....suits my car better than blue

Grrrrrrr, people that say teh glide touch is a pain in the arse, how many of you actually have one ? i find it so much easier to use than buttons after getting used to it for about a week , i have the 9853R by the way and i love it, the internal crossover settings make the sound amazing when there tweeked
