K03xxxx is the serial number or summit thats what i need
anyone make anything out from this 
or any ideas on a filter i can apply in photoshop to bring it out a bit, its upsidedown by the way the K03 starts bottom right on the pic and reads left upside down, i can make the K03 out its the numbers after thats important, needs to be 52/32

like u learnt to do in year 2 on engraved stuff

tried a mirror and touch
a) i dont have a suitable mirror and knicked one we had hanging on the wall, which had ceramic flowers ruond the edge, needless to say i snapped some of the petals off in the process, mrs wasnt happy 
b) ther isnt really enough room to manouvre a mirror,

Look what I have managed
Means its a K03S
took me 60 snaps to get that 
had to force the camera into focus on something in macro mode before squeezing it into the gap, then had to hold the button halfway down so it remained at that focus and didnt try to refocus, then squeeze it in an snap it, took many attempts, trying to hold a camera with a button held halfway down whilst trying to manuovre it around pipes with cms space either side is not easy !!

I have the following advantages over earlier cars with the k03 turbo
K04 Impellor thus larger housing by 4ml
Larger Inlet my 2ml
Larger Exhaust Outlet
Larger Main Vein
larger compressor
Higher Boost limits 1.8bar max oppesed to 1.6bar

yes, in essence remap your car and it will hold boost to the redline where the k03 gets breathless around 5k rpm.
well this was the case when i compare my remaped ibiza cupra and my octy VRS, although the VRS had the VVT engine if iirc.

well imo you should have been able to tell the turbo by the way it drives. Noticeable difference when the k03 runs out of steam, happens earlier in the rev range then you would expect, the S holds boost much longer. drive a remapped ko3 equipped leon and you would notice straight away.

never driven one so i couldnt compare, i spose the fact its making around 228bhp is evidence of it

take a photo of it through using the mirror then reverse the pic in photoshop

Can you not get blue tack on it press it in and it will make a mould?
if its a large space just keep moving the blu-tack
