He works at Norwich Union/Halifax in town, hes just had a phone call off a guy saying that if they don't put money back in to his account immediatley hes going to parade up and down the street naked! He's threatened to get the Press involved too!

Nah - he's trying to get the press involved - hence the nakedness - and Halifax are a bit paranoid of that so they're likely to back down. He kept saying "I've done it before! I know how these things work! I did a similar thing with Ford - the motor group (Oh, THAT Ford!) and I got a new car out of them! I'll get this in the papers - thats the way to go! I know how it works!" Blatant extortion!! I think we should call his bluff! He says he knows exactly where we are - but I bet he goes to a branch in town.
and before anyone asks, I've told him to stand i nthe window and get ready to take pics!
