I don't get a right lot of money for what I do, but I love my job, the people are great, I'd never leave my job, I just love it!
I asked them for more money, it's a small compnay and they don't get a right lot of money, infact, I think my wage is a big chung of the spendable income...
Got into work on Monday and get told that the owner of the company will be doing my editting work, I'll just be doing the design stuff... Instead of giving me more money, they are giving me less work 
Hmmmm.... what a toss!

damn thats a good way out of not giving a pay rise

I bet the company is making a pretty penny for itself. Bosses always make out that cashflow is a problem and they aren't doing aswell as they'd like to be

I got 8 grand increase coming from my old job to my new job!
I've only ever asked for payrise once and i got it.... it was only 1k extra but i was young at the time so it was a lot!

i got almost 20k a difference changing company's. You should maybe ave a look at shifting company's

i earn 20k more now than when i joined my company..... been there 6 years so it can pay to stay

I was in the same situation. Boss kept moaning about lack of money, can't pay wages etc.. he drove around in a new jag 
So I thought fcuk it I will take my skills and knowledge to a bigger company who won't scew me over, so I left and now get paid more money for doing less work.
If it happens again I will move again. Loads of jobs out there so don't get screwed over

I love my job and the people are so relaxed there, only 4 of us work there, 1 guy is in in and aout all day though, so 3 of us, me and the 2 partners...
If I left there I would never find another job the same...
I do think sticking it out will be the best option cos if they expand it'll do well, and we're in the proccess of selling Student TV to Either Channel 4 or 5, so that will bring in shit loads more money when it gets aired on the TV!
